In the course of joint projects and co-operations in the past we have noticed the necessity of removing the responsibility and competence limits of restorers and architects. We were however not able act upon this without restriction due to existing structures. With our decision to establish our partnership we manifested our intentions for the practical implementation of barrier-breaking intermedial co-operation.
As a result our clients can be offered services free of jurisdiction conflicts and profile neurosis. Planning-relevant informational gaps are avoidable from the start and the foundation for the service as a whole package is created. This in turn has an important and positive effect on the services rendered for the client since production costs can be processed and presented together significantly more transparent and certain.
Due to the created breadth of our service spectrum our work now ranges from single painting and sculptural objects to listed buildings and ensembles, including supplementing or extending existing buildings with new construction. As such we are able to carry out, aside from diverse projects on examination, treatment and care of artwork, current state analysis and all-encompassing project concepts for the refurbishment and restoration of building monuments and accompany them all the way from the competition to construction and documentation. A part of the latter is also the object-friendly client-approved use and function concept, which need to be developed as early as possible for the revitalisation and adaptation of building monuments. With reference to planning and planning preparation of restoration and refurbishment tasks our services include most work phases and some special work phases of the HOAI (German Fee Ordinance for Architects and Engineers), including permit planning.
The Charter of Venice serves as basis for our work. The intensive co-operation with listed building authorities, owners and users has already become a fundamental commitment of our work up to this point.
We see our purely expert services as building blocks for larger all-encompassing projects that are taken on by work groups and planner partnerships. As such we hope to play our part in conserving our cultural heritage.
